Privacy
rcmnd counts visits so it can tell whether anyone reads it and which receipts get checked. It does this itself, on this site, and nothing about a visit leaves this site.
What is recorded
For each visit: the pages opened, links followed (including which source links were checked), how far down a page you scrolled in quarters, and how many seconds the tab was visible. With it, the country and city and the network name that Cloudflare attaches to every request, a coarse device label such as "Android/Chrome", the host of the page that linked here, and a utm_source if the link carried one. If you use the search box, the words you searched for and how many things they found: a search that finds nothing is a reader telling us what is missing.
What is not
No cookies. No IP address. No full browser identifier, no fingerprinting, nothing else you type, and no third-party scripts or trackers. The visit id is a random string kept in this tab's session storage, which your browser deletes when the tab closes, so one visit cannot be linked to the next.
Two kinds of picture come from elsewhere, and like any image they reach the host that serves them: book covers from Open Library, and people's pictures from faces.kapps.dev, the sibling sites' own picture service. Neither carries anything rcmnd measured.
How long
Visit records are deleted after about 400 days.
