I like Herb Cohen's You Can Negotiate Anything. It's a little dated. Uh like old white dude in the 80s dated so be mindful it doesn't suit all audiences
Lenny's Podcast, "He's negotiated $1B+ in executive compensation. Here's his playbook.", lightning round, asked for the books they recommend most; the guest's own spoken answer (YouTube captions). The guest calls it a little dated.
And then I like radical candor. I know some of your guests put that on. I've met Kim Scott, she's phenomenal. Like that radical candor really gave me the confidence to be assertive in the ways that I never had been before.

he wrote a book called negotiation made simple. And I remember reading it and I was pissed off because I'm like I wanted to write a book a couple years ago and then I read his and said this like this is what I wanted to write. So I was frustrated and then I was like I'm going to reach out to him because I have a lot of respect for him. So I did his podcast that'll be live soon, but yeah, that was negotiation made simple. It really breaks it down in an easy way and I think that could be like a bible.

Every entry is a verbatim quote and a link to the public post it came from. Nothing is paraphrased. If it is not on record somewhere public, it is not here.
The verdict is what they actually said: loved and liked are explicit; recommended means they told others to get it; uses means they only say they use it; read is a book on their public shelf with no verdict; mixed and disliked are kept too.
A dashed affiliate link, sponsored or their own label means the post disclosed a relationship. It is shown, never hidden.
The shading behind a date shows how dated a recommendation is for its kind of thing.
The shading behind a date shows how dated a recommendation is, for its kind of thing. Fully green is recent. It drains a quarter at a time as the post gets older, and is empty once it reads as dated.
What counts as old depends on the thing. A laptop praised four years ago has been replaced twice; a book loved twenty years ago is probably still loved. The shading is gone after about:
Hardware, services4 years
Software5 years
Podcasts, courses, other8 years
Books25 years
Stripes mean the post carries no date and the date shown is an estimate. No date at all, no shading.
